99ers Want to Work, Bill S.3602 — Here’s what you need to do!
This is not the time to be silent. Let your voices be heard! There’s going to be HUGE hurdles to overcome in order for this bill to become law; and, vocal support is essential. Don’t delude yourself into thinking it will just happen. Too many hard working Americans are unemployed today. Just in Central Florida alone the unemployment rate is 11.9%.
If you are among the citizens who favor getting this bill passed, don’t wait for a miracle to happen, raise your voices loudly and clearly. Write to your Senators, Representative, and all other local officials. If you haven’t an idea on what to say, try this....
If the Tier 5 unemployment extension is not passed before you adjourn in October, I will make every effort via the internet and every other tactic I can think of to lobby voters in your state to make certain that you are not re-elected.
However if it is passed and you get the legislation on the docket, I will be the first to lobby in your state to vote for you.
I assure you the 99ers and all those in favor of getting this bill passed will act as one united force and we will attack any and all who oppose it in reference to their re-election bids.
This is not the time to leave a soft footprint, get those emails, faxes, make your calls but don’t delay!
And, for all those that are against, cut those 11.9% hardworking Americas some slack or better still offer them a job where they can support their families and keep a roof over their heads. After all, they’re not all lazy contrary to some opinions.
