Highlights of Today’s Show...
September 26, 2009
YSL had some gremlins visit again and Haydee sought to fight them off but was vanquished by the tech monsters, smile. The program went on and we are sorry that we missed our guests Cris Franco, and Dale Reynolds. But the good news is that they will be returning in the near future. Even with gremlins, Haydee and Jose forged forward talking about men's fashion, wines, stogies and just about everything. We even had an opportunity to discuss childhood stuff like recalling games like stick ball, stoop ball, ringolevio, and even on how our parents might have disciplined us, ouch! Smile. YSL even has some great recipes to share with you.

We are sure you will enjoy listening to the archive show and hearing the banter between Haydee and Jose as they entertain and inform you of what’s going on with an occasional poke at the tech gremlins by Jose.

Haydee's Slice of Fashion...
Suave & Hip!!!
September 26, 2009

This week’s fashion editorial is going to be on men’s fall/winter styles...suave and hip! A tribute to all the classics in men’s suits—black, navy, charcoal, pin stripes, etc.

The stylish choices for the season are the one-button and two-button tailored suits. While lapels continue to remain narrow with shoulders soft and natural.

However, to pronounce the elegance of your suit, add a pure silk tie (choose red, grey, or blue solids, even stripes or prints) blend it with a woven shirt—cotton, silk, gauze, linen even a poly/cotton mix (natural yet breathable fabric for comfort) or just keep it simple, shirt only.

Definitely look for slick fitted one and two button variations. Go casual with sport and crop jackets in contrasting fabrics consider a fine trim vest or sweater in contrasting colors (depending on the weather) and some cuffed pants.

For a even more casual approach while still making it a dressy statement trim tailored sports coats, some with piping detail that is reminiscent of the traditional of British college uniforms.

Now leaping into Spring 2010...it will be a tribute to the classic beauty of Sicilian men—the period of impeccable and timeless elegance. Clothing that will definitely appeal to today’s modern guy and how he dresses!
