Toy Story 3...
Review Summary
31/2 stars
This is a great sequel to the 1999 "Toy Story 2" and the 1995 original — magnified with style, confidence, and that wonderful Pixar animated magic.

This film recaptures the old comic spark with a splendid ode to "The Great Escape" as cowboy Woody, spaceman Buzz Lightyear, cowgirl Jessie, Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head and the rest of the characters bust out of the plastic-and-plush-toy jailhouse in which they find themselves.

Make no mistake, as in all the Toy Story movies, this too continues with its theme of jealousy and favoritism – for example, which toy is getting all the attention or which one is being tossed to the curb. However, what makes the movie worthwhile is in seeing how its okay to outgrow one toy and move on to another which children tend to do as they continue to navigate through life. Much like us as adults do in our own personal lives.

Highlights of Today’s Show...
Interview with Mary C. Curtis and Edward N. Rodriguez
June 26, 2010
By Jose Miranda
ORLANDO, Fla. — The three hundred pound gorilla in the room is the way Jose, started out the show speaking of Segregation asking the questions that has seemingly come to the for front of all the news media after Ron Paul was caught out there discussing the 1964 Civil Right movement in which he said he thought it went too far. All this set off a fire storm of controversy.

Jose, asked the question has Segregation returned or is America just experiencing a hic-cup and a resurgence by some wishing for negative things from the past. In order to get a better perspective of this Jose, invited Ms. Mary C Curtis, an award wining journalist, national correspondent and a contributor on Fox News Morning program in Charlotte N.C. “Keeping it Real” to join him in the discussion.

A few weeks ago Jose, had read an article written by Ms. Curtis, in the on line news paper called “The Politics Daily” in which North Carolina State Sen. Jake Knotts, made a racial slur against gubernatorial candidate and State Rep. Nikki Haley calling her a “raghead” – “a slur used against Arabs or other ethnic groups who wear turbans -- and talked about Haley's family and her parents' religion”. Sen. Knotts said on "Pub Politics." "We already got one raghead in the White House, "We don't need another in the governor's mansion."

Jose, asked Ms. Curtis, what she thought about this apparent break down that occurred since everyone at least on the surface thought that these types of remarks and feelings would have seemingly gone away since the late sixties civil rights movement. Ms. Curtis, responded that she found the incident out of touch and rude, vulgar, aghast at the verbal attack of both Ms. Haley and the President of the United States Barak Obama.

She said she recalled an incident when she was a child growing up in Baltimore when her father took her to ride a roller coaster at a fair and that she recalled how so many people appeared to be looking at her. When she asked her father why that was her father simply said it was because she was such a pretty little girl. She could only image all the things her dad and brothers had to face during those trying times. Her brother in fact had been arrested at one time for participating in a sit in at a dinner supporting civil rights.

Next up Jose, speaks local politics with Edward Rodriguez, who is running for Supervisor of Soil & Water seat number 2 in Orange County. Right out of the box Jose asked Edward why are you running for office in this crazy place? Edward stated that first off it was a non partisan seat meaning no party affiliation and that this was also a non paying job.

Some back ground on Edward Rodriguez, He is a highly decorated former New York City Detective. Has an MPA,BS, AS, from John Jay in NYC, he is a former Professor, member of the Orange County Republican Committee and a Army Veteran just to name a few things. Edward went on to say that he believed that the seat he is running for was a secret as most people he spoke to knew about what commissioners, congressmen etc do but few knew if any what a Supervisor of soil & Water did.

Jose, noted that this was a highly energetic candidate and asked Edward what makes him a better choice of candidate then the other three who are running? He smiled a confident smile and said quite frankly that he was a seasoned guy, mature, more educated and better prepared in life then his opponents… There is so much more to this confident self assured man that you have to listen to the interview to feel this guys energy www.yosoylatino.us or you can contact him directly...Edward Rodriguez 407-758-9660 or by E-mail at ERodriguez4@cfl.rr.com.
