The Twilight Saga: Eclipse...
Review Summary
2 stars
Though it has garnered notices praising it as the best and most action-packed of the three, hard as I tried it remained very much disappointing. True the Eclipse returned with all of the lethal and loving bite it was meant to have. Even the kiss of the vampire is cooler, the werewolf is hotter, the battles bigger and the choices are, well as any one with a pulse can attest to, life-changing. However, out of the three "Twilight" pictures this one pales and I did enjoy the first two. What can I say “bite me”!

Highlights of Today’s Show...
Interview with Victor Manuel Ramos and Krissah Thompson
July 3, 2010
By: Jose Miranda
ORLANDO, Fla. — Ysl returned once again to the subject of the three hundred pound gorilla in the room, Segregation or has America gone nuts. This week Ysl, had the privilege of speaking to two top notch award winning writers and journalist. Victor Ramos, of the Orlando Sentinel and creator of Hispanophere and Krissah Thompson of the Washington Post.

First up Victor Ramos. Jose’s first question was about Immigration and its effect upon the Latino community. Victor stated that this was one of the most controversial issues being debated within the Hispanic community and in the media. Why was it such a hot topic Jose asked? Victor stated that since Arizona’s bill SP1070 was introduced where by people entering this country illegally could now be charged with criminal trespassing their has been this toxic view towards Latino’s in general. Their has been a view portrayed and fostered and blown out of proportion by some groups that Latino’s are involved in drug trafficking, violent criminal activity, etc.

Where does this view come from and is this something that Florida, needs asked Jose? Victor stated that this was a debate that needed to be looked into but with a cautious eye as right now a lot of blame and racial bias was being directed towards the Hispanic communities and he added it doesn’t help when the main stream media shows on the evening news Latino’s being arrested on the boarders or shown committing criminal acts. Most European Americans tend to support the Arizona law and say the Federal Government hasn’t been doing their job however the other point of discussion should be what about the rights of citizens who could be stopped under theses proposed laws merely for looking different.

To hear more about this topic, the ACLU, the Tea Party etc go to www.yosoylatino.us click the archives and enjoy to contact Victor Ramos you can go to www.orlandosentinel.com

Next from the Washington Post National Staff writer Ms. Krissah Thompson, Jose, asked Krissah. You wrote of clubs in Kentucky, who until very recently excluded minorities’ part of this discussion has been raised because of a conversation with candidate Ron Paul, in the national media who mentioned that if he had been around when the law was written in 1964 he would not have favored some of its language. Krissah pointed out that some of this ideology dates back decades. The debate now is how important is the issue today. Is race or civil rights being violated today asked Jose? Krissah, said that today you could see that inclusion to some of these clubs is based on initiation fees which are very high which could in some ways raise a class issue. However it seems that as long as a club receives no federal monies it can pretty much do as it pleases and it’s all legal. Could these issues of exclusion of minorities’ also be viewed in the same light as when certain clubs discriminate or bar women from entering? Krissah said yes….To hear more of this incredible interview please go to www.yosoylatino.us and check out Ysl’s archives..if you want to connect with Ms.Krissah Thompson she can be reach at www.PostPolitics.com or Washington post.com

Finally Ysl welcomed back an old friend Joey Knnitt, who is representing Mustard Seed a grass root company that helps distressed people. Muster Seed was in 1988 by Carol Kane who wanted to help families who have fallen on hard times due to factors beyond their control such as disasters, fire, or our current economic times by being able to provide assistance such as furniture and other support allowing people to get back on their feet. Mustard Seed is also assisted by many church organizations.
