Review Summary
2 ½ stars
aaaaahhhhAAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!! The movie itself is half good. The humor is pretty lowbrow (a bit uncultured), with lots of slapstick, pratfalls, and a few fart jokes. Yes, there are a couple of amusing sight gag's but not nearly enough to keep a grown-up engaged.

The animation is just OK, but it lacks the richness that Pixar has shown to be possible time and again. Is the movie itself good? Well, at best mediocre.

Interview with
Avaiator, Politician Tom Garcia and the return of Magali Rassel Director of Multilingual Services of Orange County

July 17, 2010
By: Anthony Gaenzle
ORLANDO, Fla. – This weekend’s installment of Yo Soy Latino brought back a familiar face. Magali Rassel, one of the Directors of Multilingual Students Education Services Department, sat down with hosts Jose Miranda and Haydee Ayala, to revisit their previous discussion about the state’s educational system.

The conversation focused mainly on the need for multilingual education in Florida’s school. Rassel fielded calls from guests and answered questions from Miranda and Ayala, involving a range of topics from the funding of ESOL (Education for Speakers of Other Languages), to the composition and responsibilities of the teachers that have taken on this important task.

For more information on Magali Rassel you can contact her by phone at 407.312.3200 or by email at magali.rassel@ocps.net.

Later in the show, Commander Tom Garcia, a former Naval Fighter Pilot, stopped by Yo Soy Latino, hot on the campaign trail. He spoke with the hosts about his intentions to run for Congress and to change the way Florida’s politics are practiced.
Garcia’s impressive resume boasts credentials such as; Naval Academy graduate, fighter pilot, member of the Republican Party of Florida’s Hispanic Leadership Council, reception of a presidential medal, and much more.

During the latter part of the interview, a listener called in with some tough criticism. Garcia stepped up to the plate, handling the questions with ease. By the end of the called he seemed to have won over, at least in part, the opposing caller, showcasing an example of his political savvy.

For more information on Garcia, please visit http://tomgarciaforcongress.com or call his campaign headquarters at 386.314.0494 or drop him an email at staff@garcia4congress.com.

Tune in next week to WEUS Big 810 AM, Saturday at noon, for more Yo Soy Latino entertainment with your favorite talk radio personalities, Jose Miranda and Haydee Ayala.

Fashion...
Street Chic: Summer’s Hottest Accessories
July 17, 2010
Here are a few of the chicest accessories storming the streets of Orlando and other fashionable places.

THE SUMMER SCARF
The light weight and ultra soft Summer scarf is a must-have accessory for Fall and Winter. A great scarf in a pop color like coral or turquoise layered with neutral shades can double as a shawl to graze your shoulders on cooler Summer nights or the standout statement of any outfit as it gives you that casual layered look that is still so strong.

HOT SHOE OF THE SUMMER
The platform has once again returned this time into the shoe scene like wild fire and the shapes will only continue to get bigger and bolder for a more over the top look as we continue to move into future seasons. They are a chic, yet a comfortable option because they have a naturally low pitch (meaning toe and heel are more even) and are surprisingly easy to walk in. Great platform styles include layers of height into the 5" inch realm and wedges that are often featured in many shades of rich, dark wood as well as leather covered platforms in bright colors.

HOT SUMMER BAG
The hottest Summer bag style blends the bohemian free spirit with a little rock n' roll edge. Take the CC SKYE Olivia bag. This bag is stylish yet laid back and can be worn as a shoulder bag or a tote, a feature any women would love in any bag.

LAYERED SUMMER JEWELRY
The jewelry for Summer is the layered bracelets (the skinnier the better) with an edgy, bohemian feel. Right now mixed metals are really strong which makes layering extra effortless as you can mix silver and gold without having to match your watch and all of your jewelry! The Starburst Bangles are a good choice. They come in gold, silver and gunmetal so you can layer all three together or mix in with other bangles from your jewelry collection. The jagged edges and pave crystals add some edge but the mixing of metals still gives it that bohemian feel.

HOT SUNGLASSES
Aviator sunglasses are big this summer for they have a retro look and feel to them. Consider the Carrera aviators, they're more of a sporty beach look, but they translate into any outfit. A lot of guys wore this brand in the '80s and now it's becoming a trend for women. They are surprisingly inexpensive, ranging from $100 and they come in black and white.
